We would like to thank you for supporting Matt and Nat in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We were both invited to a birthday party but Matt showed up with his laptop (it was tax season and he’s in tax). I made fun of him all night for it and, when I asked him where he worked, we ended up working for the same company in different departments. We had a good laugh! He then joined my church and we got to know each other.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The first that came to mind was on our ski trip this year. We went to winter park and Matt had mentioned to me he had some ski lessons and was comfortable up to the “blue (medium)” level. We get off the gondola, put on our skis, and he proceeds to immediately face plant and lose both skis. I died laughing. Don’t worry - he only fell a few more times and we had a great trip!
What would you do with $20,000?I’m about to go to grad school and lose my source of income. I would use it to put towards my education. Also, Matt is still paying off his student loans from his data analytics masters so we could use it for helping pay that too. Additionally, trying to invest it and out a down payment in a house.
