We met in 8th grade at church. (went to different schools). We never really talked to each other. He was very quiet. We took a youth trip to Bob Evans’s Farm in Rio Grande, Ohio for an overnight trail ride and canoeing the summer before our senior year of high school. Something caught my attention. I told my friend that I thought I might like him. She arranged a pool party where I asked him out! We dated for 6 years and have been married for 22.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Married for 22 years and paying for student loans has not afforded us much vacation time-especially without kids. I won a cruise through a raffle at work so we used that as our 15 year anniversary gift to each other. It was only our second time away together in our marriage! We went To Haiti and Jamaica. It was amazing!
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly-we have so many projects that we’ve started on our house-and many are not completed. Both of our kids will be in college now, so we’re getting ready to be empty nesters. I would really love to have a few projects completed on our house. That or a trip to Europe!😁
