We’ve been together almost 15 years (married 12) and been through a lot in that time, which has only made us closer. Lots of love and joy!

Matt and I met while I was getting my bachelor’s degree and he his master’s. He was also my chemistry lab instructor. Chemistry is not my forte, so when the tutoring center wasn’t super helpful, I asked if Matt had some time to help me. Our first tutoring session consisted of him actually helping me, but the remainder of the time we just talked and connected very quickly. We started out as friends, then admitted we had developed feelings for each other. Matt asked me out, and the rest is history
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many! Matt proposing to me on a Colorado 14er peak, our wedding, hiking Grand Canyon together, running a Disney 1/2 marathon together (my second, his first), traveling overseas, specifically to Japan, Iceland, Jamaica, England, France, and Italy, and all our Disney trips together!
What would you do with $20,000?We would help my mom pay down any remaining debts she has (like her car), as she’s done so much for us over the years. We would invest the rest but likely also set some aside to harvest my eggs in case there are better advances in aiding couples with fertility issues in the future. I’m not a candidate for IVF due to my autoimmune disorder that contributed to my multiple pregnancy losses.
