Married 1 year, together 5. After 18-year marriages and 2 kids each, we found our soulmate—maybe even from a past life.

Matt and I started as friends, spending time together at concerts and football games long before we imagined being a couple. After both of us experienced difficult endings to long-term relationships, we leaned on each other through life's challenges, including COVID. What began as friendship grew into love as we discovered how much we had in common. Through honesty, laughter, and healing, we built a relationship rooted in trust, friendship, and genuine love.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory is Yellow Springs, Ohio. We visited on one of our first dates during COVID when nearly everything was closed, yet we spent the day walking, talking, and discovering how naturally we connected. Years later, Matt proposed there, and we returned to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Yellow Springs tells the story of our relationship—from friendship to love—and reminds us that the best moments come from simply being together.
What would you do with $20,000?One of our biggest dreams is turning the house Matt has called home for 23 years into a home that reflects both of us. We would use part of the $20,000 to continue renovating and creating a space for our future together. We would also love to buy a small used pop-up camper so we can explore new places, meet new people, and make more memories. For us, life's greatest adventures aren't about luxury—they're about spending time together and experiencing the world side by side.
