How did your love story begin?

Our love story began with a Facebook dating post. We were both on the verge of deleting our accounts due to subpar connections. We started chatting and agreed to go to dinner one evening. I arrived a little bit early so I could be by the front door waiting when she arrived. I saw her walking from the parking lot straight towards me, and she completely took my breath away! I’m pretty confident in myself, but she made me tremble with excitement. So beautiful!!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The unexpected Kiss: On that first date, we spent the next three hours talking, sharing, and laughing. The waitress kept coming by to take our order and we never looked at the menu until about 30 minutes in. Something was different. It was getting late so we agreed to a second date. I walked her to her car, and I went to give her a little hug goodbye. As I got close to her, she got up on her tip toes and gave me an unexpected quick kiss! I thought “I WASNT READY!” I would be ready the next date!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use some of it to hire a flash mob to make my proposal to Petra epic! I’m 60 years old and she’s 54. We’ve both been through life’s trials and failed relationships. But those things have made us what we are… perfect for each other. I would want this proposal to exceed anything she’s ever experienced. I think we would also use some for a dream honeymoon vacation…assuming she says yes of course :). She is my “dream girl”!
