How did your love story begin?

We met in college at a bar, wreck em tech! We still argue over who talked to who first, but I (Lexi) left that night thinking to myself “if only I could find someone like Mark to be with”. A couple months later, I saw him at a basketball game and messaged him on social media. We started flirting and have been together ever since!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

In December 2025 we welcomed twins, a boy and a girl! Being together for over 11 years there are so many memories that we’ve shared it’s hard to choose a favorite. Our engagement was pretty memorable; Mark propose in our backyard of our first home which was so perfect. But, the next day we lost power and water for a week due to what TX called “snowpocalypse” & had to use his “marry me” signs to light up our house! We’ve always said “if we made it through our engagement week, we can do anything”

What would you do with $20,000?

I absolutely love working in a pediatric ICU and helping each family, but my student loans definitely remind me how expensive that dream was. While $20,000 wouldn’t erase my balance, it would make a real difference. It would take some weight off our shoulders and let me put more energy into building a future with my husband and our beautiful twins instead of stressing over monthly loan payments.
