We met in June, got engaged in July, and got married in August, all in the same year, 1985. Here we are 41years later, still in love.

Mark & I met at my best friend’s wedding; I was one of the bridesmaids, he was friends with the groom and the photographer for the event. About a week after the wedding, he requested my number - he called several times, leaving messages with my mom, until I decided to talk to him. We agreed to meet to go on our first date.. He proposed on 7/23, and on 8/23 we got married by the Justice of the Peace … odd, but true, the judges’ last name, my witness’, and mine were exactly the same, Araúz.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many wonderful memories, but I think one that stands out: we had placed a bid on our fist home, went on vacation to California, for Christmas, and while we were there , they called us telling us we have been approved for the loan, and the house was ours. We came back and started packing everything to move into our new home the first week of the following year.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay some bills, and take our kids on a MEGA vacation.
