How did your love story begin?

Our family’s urged us both to try dating websites. Interestingly we both wanted the least expensive one. I and him both super liked each other. That was the beginning. Time passed & I actually almost closed my account out of frustration and then Mark messages if he & I could exchange numbers and plan a date. I fell in love with his smile. I had asked God for a guy who wanted to truly know me & to hold my hand. Mark asks b4 our 1st stroll, Can I hold your hand. I looked at the sky & smiled.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We started dating during Covid so everything was more difficult but that showed each of us how much we truly wanted to be near & dear to the other. We would have “bar-side” chats at his counter and face each other, talk, ask questions, and laugh, cry and open up. We loved meeting each day after work and sitting at his counter “bar-side”… It’s like we were swinging on our front porch together, enjoying every moment, and with each swing our hearts became one. What would you do with $20,000?

Mark works all the time- he desperately loves to travel but since blending households my job transitions have made traveling difficult financially. Mark misses it, I know. There is one trip I would love to surprise him with. A train ride through the northeast/Canada to view the beautiful colors of the leaves of fall. He craves both that train ride and seeing the fall leaves. For all he has sacrificed, I’d love to surprise him with this trip and maybe let it be a trip for an elopement too!
