How did your love story begin?

1982 on a rainy night I was soaking wet walking to a convenience store for a bottle of wine , mark was standing there outside when I came out he struck a conversation & then reached for my wine bottle to look at it , opened it , drank from it , I got heated over it and walked away mad after some choice words into the dark rainy nite . He searched for where I lived the next day he showed at my door with a bottle of wine & red roses asked me for a date . From that day on we’ve been inseparable .

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Mark planned a surprise wedding at a pastors house , then asked me to go look at Christmas lights when we arrived at a house we got out thinking he must know them the door opened and he got down on a knee & & said marry me right here right now . Of course I said yes . Always making everything an adventure every day since , never a dull moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

Hes sacrificed so much building a trucking business, I would surprise him with saying,Honey, you’ve made me & our 2 children happy everyday , putting your dream on hold to have the things we’ve needed , it’s now your time to shine by finishing & building your high school muscle car 1973 Plymouth Barracuda no more tinkering and scraping to buy parts here & there to restore it .
