He was 13. I was 16. We met at a youth hangout. He looked at me & said I would be his wife one day. I laughed because we were total opposites & I was a new mother to a baby girl (born a week earlier). After that, we did everything together. He was my bestfriend. I never told him I actually loved him until 5 years later. July 4th 2005 we made it official!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The night he proposed to me. We went to dinner, then to a campground. He made me a CD of love songs that he played, then got on one knee. He brought strawberries & chocolate syrup (thinking it would harden). He drew us a bubble bath. We went to sit on the porch of our cabin, the door shut behind us & LOCKED! He was in his boxers, no shirt. I had on pants & a tank. I gave him my pants to put on since he had to walk to the office to get someone to let us back in.
What would you do with $20,000?I think we would both agree to pay off some debt so we could start the process of buying a house.
