Connect How did your love story begin?

Technically, our story started on Hinge.. but not really. Marcus and I had actually met about five years earlier and never looked at each other that way. Somehow, we kept crossing paths throughout life without even realizing it. Then one day, Cupid finally caught up to us. We matched, started talking, and realized we crossed paths more times then we knew . Turns out our love story was all about “timing”.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our engagement. It was our kind of perfect. Marcus made sure my grandmother, who had been diagnosed with cancer and given very little time, was there to witness it, and that alone made it unforgettable. But in true us fashion, after flying all the way to Indianapolis to propose… he forgot the ring 😂 Somehow, that made it even more perfect. It reminded us that love isn’t about flawless moments, it’s about intention and just showing up! The love was there…even if the ring wasn’t 😂

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d use the $20,000 to create the start of our marriage but not just our wedding. We’d put it toward our intimate wedding celebration, make memories through our honeymoon, and invest in building our future together. After everything life has taught us about timing and appreciating the people we love while they’re here, we want to start this next chapter intentionally.
