I was writing a rock opera and Gianni was recommended as a co-writer. We kept canceling on one another until one night they were calling for a storm. I said, “If it snows, I’ll bring a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor.” We never did finish that song, but we talked until 7 AM the next morning and told each other things we had never said out loud before. He walked me to my car, only a hug, I got in and said to myself. “crap, I’m gonna marry that guy.” He proposed two weeks later.❤
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s really hard to nail down one memory when every single day is such an incredible gift. Every anniversary we toast one another and say how each day we think “it’s not possible to love anybody more than this…” And yet we do. With each day, week, month and year our love deepens, and we never take one another for granted. Some of our memories are sadly incredibly painful, and in some ways that is the proof of our love. We are each other’s anchor no matter what is going on.
