48 years ago, a girl from California met a boy from Belgium, and together they built a life together. Through careers, music, family, countless adventures, and a house full of animals, we've raised two amazing kids and welcomed five wonderful grandsons. Birmingham has been home for the last 33 years, but home has always been wherever we're together. He's still my favorite person to share this journey with and we're still writing our story one laugh at a time.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We took a 21-day road trip from Birmingham to Quebec, unsure what to expect. It became one of the best adventures of our lives. We explored charming towns, met amazing people, laughed a lot, and made memories together we'll cherish forever. My favorite memory was moving to Paris. We sold everything, took a leap of faith, embraced the adventure together. Life eventually brought us back home, but the memories we made and the journey we shared are priceless. We'd do it all over again.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to take the whole family to Disney World Orlando. None of us have EVER been and all the kids talk about going all the time, they'd all love it. Or... take a Viking River Cruise in Europe (just the two of us)! :)
