We were both stationed in Japan while serving in the US Navy. I had helped her with a significant life problem and was the only one at our command that had never asked her out (didn't think I had a chance). She confessed that she liked me in front of her best friend who was just as shocked as I was.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?With 18 years as best friends there are so many and most have to do with one of us supporting the other in some way. But when we played our first public gig as "Married Melody" to support one of my best friends cancer fight in my hometown we were both so happy to be able to share what we love to do to serve others and hope to continue to do so.
What would you do with $20,000?When I told my wife that I entered us in this competition we both decided that half of the prize money would go to a charity that supports veterans and first responders. The other half will assist in keeping us in this RV life and spreading our music far and wide.
