Connect How did your love story begin?

I came to Utah to see someone else. Michele had recently ended a relationship and had only been back from England a few months. Neither of us knew the other existed. Yet somehow we both ended up at the same dance on the same night. From the moment we met, it felt like we’d known each other forever. Every goodbye felt unfinished, like there were words waiting to be said. Looking back, it feels impossible. Yet somehow every decision in our lives led us to the same place at the same time.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

From the very beginning, every goodbye felt unfinished. I wanted to say more, but it felt too soon. Every time we parted, it was like stopping a story in the middle of a sentence. Then one day we finally said, “I choose you.” Everything changed. The words we couldn’t say became easy, and the story finally kept going.

What would you do with $20,000?

The money would help, but the opportunity to share our message would mean even more. Before we met, we were both making difficult choices to heal, grow, and begin again. Those small decisions changed the course of our lives until our paths crossed. Through Day One Reset, we want to show others that one decision today can create an entirely different future tomorrow. Our relationship isn’t the message—it’s the proof.
