I met my husband second day of freshman year. It literally took 33 1/2 years for us to make our first date. 35 years later 💝
We would like to thank you for supporting M&M in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
I lived in a highly unfortunate home growing up. I had a highly abusive mother that love to degrade me. It took my husband and I three and a half years from the day he asked me to date him to the day we got our first date. There is a popcorn story that is definitely worth hearing about. My husband saved my life.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I will never ever underestimate the power of when my husband took my hand and stood up to my mother who had spent my entire life telling me how worthless I was. And him going to toe with her telling her that my value in this world was immeasurable. I never saw myself until I saw myself through his eyes.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly we live in a very unaffordable area of America. I want to buy some land so that my kids can actually build homes and have a future here. My husband and I have struggled to make a difference not only in our children's lives but in the lives of other children. We spend our lives doing volunteer work to bring other kids and other families together with Christ. My goal in this world is to help my kids take a burden off of themselves so they can join me in working with kids who need help
