We met at a youth group in 1999 and became fast friends. We eventually began noticing that we were the others’ favorite person, and laughed more together than with anyone else. After each dating the wrong people , we finally started dating in 2003 when we realized we were soul mates.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many memories to choose from, most of which came to be because one of us did something ridiculous, or hysterical, and became a part of our story. Our favorite memory, however, has to be giving each other a huge “different” hug on our first date at Pizzeria Uno! It was a double arm, long, intentional hug with the feeling of overwhelming relief and gratitude that we finally made this decision! It was a feeling of, wow, so glad we are finally doing this, and it feels so perfect!
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we would donate a portion to some causes close to our heart, one being the Tourette Association of America. We would also probably take our kids on a tropical family vacation, which they have never done. Lastly, there will obviously be as many front row Old Dominion concerts as we can afford!
