Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in high school, though we'd known of each other for about three years before we ever really crossed paths. In 2019, we grew close in our MCJROTC class and quickly became best friends. What started as a high school friendship turned into a lifelong love. Looking back, we never could have imagined that seven years later we'd be engaged, homeowners, and building our own little homestead together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Choosing just one favorite memory is impossible! Two that stand out most are our first camping trip together and the first time we worked on a car together—which took an entire week! Both experiences taught us so much about each other, our patience, and how well we work as a team. Through those moments, our love grew stronger and matured, showing us that no matter the challenge, we're always better together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put it toward our wedding and the celebration of a love we've spent years building. As a full-time nursing student working full-time as a nurse and a firefighter serving our community, we work hard every day. This blessing would help us create a beautiful day surrounded by the family and friends who have supported us throughout our journey.
