We met at my job—I said hello, and something just clicked. Every time he stopped by, we’d talk like no time had passed. I finally asked him to lunch, but he had to rush off and promised “next time.” Then he disappeared for a month! I thought I imagined the spark. When he came back, he asked me to lunch—and that was the beginning. One year later, we were married.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite story is his “proposal”—if you can call it that! We were house hunting and knew it was serious. He looked at me and said, “Well… you know… will you?” I said, “Will I what?” We went back and forth, laughing. Later at dinner with his dad, he said, “Did you tell them what I asked you?” That was it! We married six weeks later—exactly one year after our first date, July 16.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use $20,000 to pay off debt, invest in our future, and take a meaningful getaway—because the best memories we’ve made have always been together.
