We are 34 years old and met when we were 13…we are now married and continue to be best friends every day

We were 13 years old at a Bat Mitzvah in New Jersey. We didn’t know each other, but like at any good party, I (Olivia) kicked off my shoes and danced the night away. When it was time to leave, I couldn’t find them anywhere. That’s when PJ walked up to me, noticed I looked completely lost, and offered to help. I fell in love at 13. It just took him 20 years to realize he wanted to be with me too. Thankfully, he finally found his way back to me—just like he found my shoes all those years ago.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Every Saturday we have coffee on the couch before our day begins. No phones, no tv, no screens at all. While it is a constant and part of our week it is also a memory we want to keep relieving!!
What would you do with $20,000?PJ doesn’t know this, but if we were ever gifted money, I would want him to use some of it to pursue his dreams. Whether that’s putting it toward owning a food truck someday or growing the nonprofit he created after getting sober. Almost two years sober, he’s turned one of the hardest chapters of his life into a way to help others, and that’s one of the many reasons I love him.
