Our story began in 2008 when we both signed up for a dating site during a free weekend, mostly for fun! Online dating wasn’t very common then, and somehow we ended up being each other’s very first match. After a few dates, I knew there was something special, but I was young and nervous, so we stayed friends for years. Then one day I thought, “What are we doing?!” We made it official, and less than a year later, Jake proposed. The rest is history! This weekend we’re celebrating 12 years married!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Wow, so many to choose from! Aside from our vintage carnival wedding (a given! ;), we’d both agree on traveling the world together. There’s just something so special about experiencing another country and culture for the first time with the one you love/your best friend. It’s a bonding experience like no other and there's truly nothing quite like it. Also, rescuing our pups and giving them the best spoiled life together! And building our little tear drop trailer together. See, so many to chose!
What would you do with $20,000?Oh my goodness, that would be an absolute dream! We’re currently saving up to buy a home so it would go straight to helping with a down payment.
