Once upon a time, a vintagegal from CA & Swedish artist were destined to meet from across the world. Lindsay studied abroad so we met thru a mutual friend via Facebook, thanks to our shared love of music. We had a 5,000 mile long distance relationship for several years which was so challenging. We’ve learned each other’s cultures and languages but we’re still always learning something new together. We are still finding our way in the world together and that's the greatest adventure and gift!

Our fall fairytale wedding was our dream come true! When we got married we knew we wouldn't have to be apart anymore, and we have hardly been apart since! Our wedding was the only time both sides of our family have been together, and that still means so much to us that so many traveled to be there and celebrate with us.

We would realize our dream of writing and illustrating storybooks together based on our cozy cottage life in the Hudson Valley, NY and our garden full of charming critters. For the last 9 years, we've lived at Cobweb Cottage which has been our longest home together after having traveled a lot to find our a place to call home. We even were nearly homeless several times but always got through it together. We would love to put these hopeful themes into our stories for children of all ages!
