When I was 5 I came home from school and my mom told me to say goodbye to my grandma. It was the fall of Saigon and we would never see our family again. My Mom and Dad met while my Dad was stationed in Saigon, Vietnam. They lost touch as my Dad had to return to the U.S.with the Navy. After almost being separated for a year they finally reconnected and got married on Halloween. Two days after we left Vietnam ALL rescue helicopters stopped coming.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory was when we went to Disney world for our honeymoon .
What would you do with $20,000?Take my parents back to Vietnam to visit my Mom's homeland and the place where they met. It would be the best homage to a love that has lasted 50 years!
