Connect How did your love story begin?

We first met in Bahrain in 2008 while I was living and working there and Mike was deployed with the United States Coast Guard. We noticed each other at a restaurant, but the timing wasn't right, and we became friends instead. Two years later, Mike returned to Bahrain, and in 2010 we finally went on our first date. From that moment, everything felt effortless, as if fate had brought us back together at exactly the right time.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is getting married on the beach and taking the honeymoon we had dreamed about for years. Although we didn't get to take our honeymoon until ten years later, it was worth the wait. It was just the two of us on the beach, and it was everything we had both hoped for and dreamed of—simple, beautiful, and perfect because we were together.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were fortunate enough to win the prize money, we'd invest it right back into our dream by continuing to grow our coaching business, SM Physiques, so we can help even more people transform not only their bodies, but also their confidence, health, and quality of life & we would use a small portion to take a vacation together. We've both worked incredibly hard, and I've been working three jobs, seven days a week, while building our business & haven't had any quality time together.
