We met at a singles event after moving to north Alabama after changes late in life. He said he fell in love that night. We became very good friends, I was always trying to fix him up with my friends. I thought I no longer needed a man and wouldn’t date him, but I rode with him to all singles events since I didn’t drive at night, so everyone thought we were dating. He took me out for my birthday and Valentine’s Day and after seeing a picture of us, I knew we were both in love!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Oh, there’s so many! Everything is precious, we have taken his house that he had bought and lived in a short time and done work in it to make it our home along with a dog, a cat and three birds. The important thing is we share and we do it together and it makes it special, we cook together, we grocery shop together, we do most everything together and it works!
What would you do with $20,000?Go on another trip, have another party to share it with our friends, we love to entertain! Share some with our church, maybe make another improvement to our home.
