Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story started with a Bumble match and two matching “I Am Kenough” hoodies. I joked that we should wear them on our first date and pretend we’d never met if anyone noticed. Nearly three years later, that date still hasn’t happened. Instead, our first date was a minor league hockey game where the loudest fans kept yelling, “Grab his dick and twist it!” Somehow, that perfectly chaotic night turned into the greatest love story either of us could’ve imagined.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We thought we were checking a bucket-list golf trip off before our move across the country. Instead, we got our forever. I surprised my fiancé with a Pebble Beach getaway for Valentine’s Day, and on our first evening, after a cozy brewery dinner, we watched the sun melt into the Pacific. As a pod of seals swam past, he got down on one knee. We came for world-class golf but left with the best story of our lives—and a wedding to plan.

What would you do with $20,000?

We'd spend every dollar on our Fall 2028 wedding—because apparently venues, flowers, and feeding your favorite people all cost slightly less than a private island. More than anything, we'd use it to create one unforgettable day with the family and friends who've cheered us on from a Bumble match and matching "Kenough" hoodies to a hockey game full of questionable fan advice, a beachside proposal, and now forever.
