Connect How did your love story begin?

Like so many, we met on Tinder, in the early days of the dating app craze. We often joke that we won the game. Our first date was at a bar in Denver that has a forest theme. The tv behind the bar was showing videos of the pacific northwest, a place Josh went to college and an area Laura had spent time after college. It seemed fated that it would give us an easy conversation starter. We talked all night, taking the conversation from one bar to another.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We recently took a trip with our kids and extended families to Disneyland, that trip was such a test and reminder of the beautiful life we built. We love Disney parks. It's something that we didn't discover was a shared interest until after we got married. Visiting Disney has become a part of our story as a couple. If we can spend three days managing our kids and extended family in the parks, and still enjoy bantering with each other about ride strategy, we know we can do anything.

What would you do with $20,000?

We love live music and spending time with our community of friends and family. We would use it rent a big house in Telluride for next years Telluride Bluegrass festival. We have not been back since our older daughter was first born. It is a really special place for us. We first bonded over our love of bluegrass music and this festival. We would love to take our kids and spend time there with our family and friends.
