We met in healthcare as pediatric home health nurses, a mutual friend set us up, and our kids met at a playground at a church function and my son came back to me and said ‘ mom can we play with them again?! I got the phone number from my friend, and I didn’t want to call a man! But my son insisted he wanted to play with the other boys! So we got the kids and went to the beach and the dating began! Sometimes without kids on the dates 😉
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of our daughter for sure! So many great ones! but, more recently in 2023 we were able to renew our vows in Hawaii on a beach we go to as often as we can, and the grown kids arrived there to celebrate us and we had n amazing trip! Honestly, still making memories today! All the kids are grown and making a life for themselves and us watching them become amazing people is the best feeling ever!
What would you do with $20,000?We work so hard in healthcare at busy hospitals, and so paying down some bills would be amazingly helpful! Also, my older daughter is getting married 11/5 this year and this would help us give the newly weds an amazing wedding! And they are also a well deserving couple!
