We met in 7th grade quickly becoming best friends. We attempted to date in 10th grade but I broke up with him because he decided to wait to get his drivers license and I didn’t want to pick him up haha! We continued our friendship and began dating in 11th grade. We survived years of long distance through undergrad and graduate school. We finally married after dating for 8 years and have now been together for a total of almost 10 years. We will be celebrating our 2nd year of marriage on August 18
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In college we overlapped at school for a year before COVID hit. During that year we had a huge snow storm which was rare in MS. We couldn’t drive so we walked to the main area of campus in our snow clothes and had an amazing snow day with sledding, hot chocolate, eating out, and walking thousands of steps to get everywhere. We also got to spend time with our friends which made it even more fun. We ended the day in front of a heater with hot chocolate and a movie.
What would you do with $20,000?Probably either work to pay off our student loans or use it with our savings to put a down payment on our first home. We currently rent and it’s our dream to buy a home before we start our family. I have big dreams of decorating a nursery!
