It all started when my interpreter was wounded by a VBID or Car Bomb in the Green Zone of Baghdad Iraq shortly after taking over our area on the edge of the Green Zone. My wife was her replacement and this is when we first met. After that we kept running into each other when I would come to that base and eventually we exchanged phone numbers so we could stay in touch if I needed help translating anything. I stayed for another full second 18 month tour and our communication continued.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many to choose from its hard to narrow it down, However, each time our kids were born was crazy AMAZING! 2 girls and a Boy, Azia, Jamila and Zakaria. We did have an absolutely Amazing Biker wedding and Reception and our local VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Every motorcycle ride and camping/ Fishing trip is an adventure.
What would you do with $20,000?Take the Honeymoon we could not afford to take when we were married 17 years ago plus some much needed Dental work we have not been able to afford as well.
