Lamar was sent from another boat to North Carolina out of the blue where I was just arriving out of bootcamp. I met him very briefly before going to Baltimore where my ship was in the yards. When we came back in late August, I looked him up because he seemed nice and I had no transportation or housing off the boat. He decided to ask me out because, "I didn't look like I was going to leave otherwise".
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many to choose from but I'm going to say during Desert Storm when Lamar came in from Port patrol just to refuel & replenish provisions. My water broke, we had to stop for gas and our son came into the world 6 weeks early, small but healthy and with a good set of lungs.
What would you do with $20,000?If i answer it would be to go to Domaine de Cromey in Burgandy, France and Champaign, France, but we will have to decide together.
