When we were 13 and 14 we met at the lake where I lived and his family vacationed. We were each other”s first kiss and first loves. The environment was very Dawson’s Creek. Life sometimes has other plans and detours your path. As adults, we found ourselves back on a lake and experiencing that same love again and shared and built that memory with our kids. It took 35 years to realize we were each others soul mates.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?While we were building what is now our life as a couple we rented a home on a lake so that our kids could experience the fun we had growing up swimming, hiking, ultimately being kids. So my favorite memory will be the current one….watching our families merge and become sisters.
What would you do with $20,000?If we had any amount of money we would use it to spend on finding a way to buy that summer home we grew as a family. Our kids enjoyed staying on the lake for vacationing even more than we did as kids. We would love to give our kids the same opportunities that we had in the hopes that they find their same soul mates that we did as kids. And maybe share that moment with grandbabies down the road…..not just all the furry ones they have given me so far.
