Me and Michael met through a dating app. I knew he was the one for me after reading his tacky pickup line, which in theory should not have worked haha. From the first day I met him, I knew he was gonna be different than the rest and he has spent everyday since proving me right. On our first date we went to a haunted house and while Michael tried to be brave, I was the one who had to go in front and hold his hand. It was the most perfect night and best first date. We hungout everyday after that:)

Not to sound cliché, but our favorite memory is definitely our wedding day. Mike and I are simple and never wanted anything big. A week before our courthouse plan “Forever” by Chris Brown came on and Jim and Pams Niagara Falls wedding popped into our heads. We looked at eachother and knew. A week later, we were in Niagara Falls with a few loved ones. The sky seemed bluer, the sun brighter. We said I do right beneath the falls. We still joke about doing it all over again someday just to relive it

I recently graduated from my masters program, for which I had to do a year long unpaid internship. Throughout that time Michael not only supported me emotionally, but financially. He took care of everything so I could just focus on school. I would love to be able to repay him for all the late nights and weekends he had to work while I was in school and give him a much earned long vacation, as well as take the honeymoon that we weren't able to fully have because of various life circumstances
