Unconventionally… we met on the first day of the Freeform reality dating show LoveTrip Paris. A show connecting American dreamers (Lacy) to French romantics (Bastien). We both chose to do the experience for adventure, definitely not expecting to actually find our soulmate. We even suspected producers had told each other what to say because our first encounter seemed “too perfect.” Our love continually proves that “too good to be true” does not exist ;) We married 11 months later in Paris <3
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Bastien’s: I’ll never forget holding Lacy in my arms while watching the beach sunset only months into our relationship. I realized for the first time in my life, I feared dying, because I wanted my time with her to last forever. Lacy’s: oh the thrill of being with Bastien! Whether skydiving together, making love in a tree on the grounds of Versailles or riding on his motorcycle around the world… it’s the private moments where he meets me in my depths & stays, teaching me to love myself deeper.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d go to Egypt!! Upon meeting, we bonded over this shared lifelong dream of wanting to experience the wonder and magic of the ancient mysteries there. It’s called to us since we were young. There’s not a documentary we haven’t seen regarding Egypt. We know it will happen soon and like all travel, it will expand us forever. We’d love to go before we start creating a family (:
