Our love story begun when I messaged Dayanna on snapchat wishing her a happy birthday. I had not seen her in a few years, and the smile that formed on my face from seeing her made it clear I had to slide up. After that, I started up a conversation and asked her to lunch on that Monday. Sher agreed and we went to shake shack and then spent 4 hours at a park laughing and talking. A few days later we had a movie night and I accidently fell asleep in her dorm room and we never separated after that.

Our favorite memory would be the spontaneous trip to Detroit to see one of her favorite artist. This was our first trip out of the state together and being able to just pack up and go with the person you love is a feeling we cannot even explain. The car ride filled with mini concerts, laughter, and just sightseeing was something more than we could imagine. Once we got to the concert, just us singing along to songs that we made sure to know every word to put the biggest smiles on our faces.

We just got engaged on June 20th, 2026, and that would be so much help in planning our wedding get away and honeymoon. Since we are still in college and currently getting our masters, we know the budget is not a lot but it's enough for us. So having $20,000 would just make it even more special. We would not use it all for that, we would also add it to our savings so that we can build into ourselves and just enjoy life together. Do random things that we may have not been able to do before.
