Our story began in 2014 when we met online. Once a Marine in Iraq, reaching out to me on Facebook all the way in the CA. We spent many hours getting to know each other through FaceTime, emails and phone calls (even with the time difference). We later met at a coffee shop in Aug 2014, got engaged Nov 2014, married June 2015 and had our first child Dec 2015. After 10ys w/ the Marines, he join the Army NG where we have continued our marriage of 12ys & 3 kids while building our family together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory together would be the day we got engaged. My husband was receiving an award in Virginia, so he flew into the US from a deployment and I joined him there. We had some time to sightsee, and he took me to the Iwo Jima monument and proposed to me. I said yes and grabbed the ring so quickly he didn't even notice and when he looked down at the empty box, he thought he lost it and started looking for it. Oops! Haha
What would you do with $20,000?We would use some of the money for a honeymoon we never got to take because he had to return back to his deployment. We would also pay off some of our home loan.
