Connect How did your love story begin?

What began as mutual admiration turned into instant love. He was a very hands-on girls dad as I was with my son. Believe it or not, we actually became friends through Facebook (lol). I saw how involved he was as a single dad with his girls and it reminded me so much of myself as a single mom. It was very admirable and grabbed my attention. On top of that he was very sweet, thoughtful, attentive and respectful. He did not come across as pushy as most men, so that grabbed my attention too!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is our first trip to New Orleans. This was our first outing with my son and everywhere we went people kept complimenting us saying how we were a beautiful family and that they love how we interacted. It really tickled us because that was the first time they were around each other, but you couldn’t tell. Their connection was instant and that hasn’t changed in almost 8 years. Their relationship is beautiful and truly warms my heart!

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won this $20,000 I would do something nice for him. He lost both of his parents 2 years apart, with his dad’s sudden passing last year and we almost lost my mom as well. He is so selfless and works so hard to provide for his family. He can hear me talking about something and he’ll surprise me with whatever it is. He’s a very hard worker, dedicated coach and devoted dad. I have to remind him to take a moment for himself always doing for us. This would be used as a token of appreciation.
