How did your love story begin?

In June 1988 my mom was at a party my dad didn’t want to go to. My mom had talked this guy Greg who happened to be my dad’s roommate. He convinced my dad to go to a party. I think the story was my mom wore my dad’s necklace that night and he called her to get his necklace back. And a date. They dated long distance for a long time. Minnesota and Indiana. Safe to say it worked out, and they are made for each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I can’t speak for my parents, but my favorite was watching them always working together. If one person didn’t cooking the other did the dishes. If one person didn’t laundry the other mowed the lawn or shoveled the driveway and if someone finished before the other they would tag team the rest of the unfinished task. Real teamwork.

What would you do with $20,000?

I went through a seriously break up and they have been there to support me any way I need, when I needed help catching up on bills and necessities they didn’t even bat an eye. Not to mention all they have done for me growing up including buying me my first car and helping me with any tools I need for work. They are now dealing with more financial responsibilities than before and I’d love to be able to win this for them to help so they can get a good amount of bills covered. Thank you.
