Kevin and I met on a chance date in September of 2000, we decided to go to a New Year’s Eve party in Downtown Denver, the clock struck midnight and Kevin spun me around and kissed me! That moment, that feeling was absolute love, and we married May of 2001! Kevin was severely injured in 2004, a piece of shrapnel penetrated his brain and the prognosis was not good, we never gave up, and Kevin made a full recovery! We both never dreamt love could be so precious, we truly share a love like no other!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Honestly our most cherished memory is when Kevin woke up from his coma of 22 days after being injured and he remembered who I was and who his children were. We both think back to that very day and are so thankful that we STILL have each other!!
What would you do with $20,000?We have talked about it and a portion of the money would go to a non profit that supports traumatic brain injury for sure!! We haven’t decided which non profit yet though.
