Through all the years of life doing its thing; we diligently worked together to keep moving forward and growing together as a united couple.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
It all started at a niece's birthday party in 2001. He drove by with his cousin in his green cougar with player rims. I was instantly smitten. My sister invited them to come back and enjoy the party. He hobbled up the driveway (his knee was broken at the time) and asked to hold my son. From that moment we knew. 3 days later was his birthday and our official 1st date. It will be 25 years this October since that date.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We married October 2004 then Katrina hit the gulf coast 2005. We were displaced to Brewton, Al with lots of help from a local church there. On our 1st wedding anniversary, he was in the New Orleans area trying to get any work available. That evening he called and we talked for hours. He started telling me a "story about a movie". As he went on he said something about a man knocking on the door. In that moment he was on the porch knocking! He drove 6 hours just to spend a few hours together.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay down some debt or invest in another property. It depends on what God is saying to do at the time. I try not to count my chickens before they hatch. Its in God's timing only with us.
