The first time we met was Halloween of 1984 in a small town in Montana. It was the hallway of the only school in town. She was dressed as a clown, and I was dressed as a zombie principal. And honestly, it was not love at first sight, she was dating her first serious boyfriend and I was interested in her girlfriend who introduced us. But later, to use my wife’s own words, she hunted me like a dog, and she always gets her man. Luckily I was no exception.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite couple memories is probably one of our earliest and most important memories. It’s the day she told me she was pregnant at the ripe old age of 17. I was playing intramural volleyball in the high school gym, and she came up and sat behind me on the bench, wrapped her arms around me and whispered in my ear hi daddy! My brain immediately switched to the all snow static channel you used to see on old-fashioned TVs. Then, Thank God, I proposed and she said yes.
What would you do with $20,000?I wish it was something more dramatic, but probably pay bills and fix the roof.
