We were in the same Speech class in college and he wouldn’t stop talking about turning twenty-one, so I asked “When do you turn twenty-one so you will shut up?” He replied, “December third.” Then I said, “No you don’t because that is my birthday.” We have been together ever since, almost twenty-two years.
