It began 16 years ago when we were college students. We had a mutual friend who introduced us via BlackBerry Messenger! I was not interested in him at first because I was focused on school. He was persistent though and we started to date. There was not one day that went by where we did not talk. We became not only a couple but best friends. We dated for 5 years and one night at the bowling alley surrounded around friends and family, he proposed to me! And of course I said yes!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our children being born. Every child solidified an even greater bond between us. We have four beautiful children who are our world.
What would you do with $20,000?God has called us to be a light for children in our business and in church. The last few years we have poured into children, teenagers and young adults of all ages through owning a mental and behavioral health agency to help them regulate and learn coping skills. We recently opened a group home to foster boys so we will use some of the money to make sure the home has everything it needs. We would give to our church for the new location they are building! And we would pay off debt!
