How did your love story begin?

At 64, we both wondered if love again was attainable. One divorced, the other widowed, we connected surprisingly and accidentally via an app. From our first phone conversation, we just knew something was special about the other. Subsequent video conversations that were bold and intentional, we found there was no messing around. We just had to get face-to-face. When we discovered more commonalities and personality likes, the momentum was undeniable, making it nearly impossible to say goodbye's.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Getting married 6/13/26 in a little 1800’s chapel in a small, intimate covenant ceremony with a few close family and friends. There are so many more - like our first kiss on the “Park Bench of Destiny” when we entered the “Portal of Affection”. Meeting for the first time at Glen’s Cafe, featured in the “Yellowstone” series, skipping rocks on our first hike, and country western dancing are all close favorites. So many to mention.

What would you do with $20,000?

Buy a king-sized organic mattress so we could get good rest before heading off to Italy, Austria, and Ireland for a grand honeymoon. We really want to celebrate what we consider to be a miraculous connecting of two hearts and lives built for covenant commitment as we finish life strong with good health, community service and making blended-family memories with our legacy.
