After years of being best friends, we both came out to each other. Years after that, we realized we couldn’t live with just being friends.

Kayla and I met when we were 11 and in sixth grade. Immediately we clicked and began to make memories. It wasn’t until Sophmore year of high school where her and I finally were confident enough to tell each other our sexuality. We only told each other even though we were in a friend group. We were always so comfortable with one another. After high school graduation Kayla took the chance to finally tell me how she felt. I had felt the same way for a long time. It’s been two years since then!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?A couple months into us dating we took a trip up to the Poconos in Pennsylvania (where we are from). We were canoeing at a near by lake when I decided to stand up and jump in the water. Kayla has always been a rule follower so of course she yelled at me. My response was to pull her in. Once she got over the anger of being wet and cold, she laughed and didn’t stop. That’s when we both knew we were in it for the long run.
What would you do with $20,000?Kayla and I are both college students. We will be college graduates two years from now and our sole goal after graduation is to find an apartment together. Sometimes that goal seems unrealistic because of all the student debt we will be in. With the 20,000 dollars we will split it together. Half going towards our debt and half going towards our goal of starting an independent life together.
