It takes a lot to overcome old pain in love. And yet it has never stopped us from showing up every single day for each other.

We met online like most people do, both out of long term engagements that we had broken off for different reasons. Neither of us were looking for a new relationship at the time, but the chemistry on our first date was incredible. We had so much fun just chatting and enjoying one another's company and I knew something was there. After an amazing kiss goodnight, I drove home with the insane idea that I was going to marry this guy.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We skipped Christmas gifts last year to spend a few days in Seattle doing touristy things and I can confidently say it is some of the most fun we have ever had. We ate great food, visited the zoo and aquarium and museums and just soaked in our love for one another.
What would you do with $20,000?Me being a student means a lot of holding off on fun until my degrees are complete. That also means waiting until I have my degrees before we can get married because of financial aid constraints. With that money, we could get married somewhere intimate and beautiful and have a big trip to celebrate that and my graduation while also tackling debt.
