Connect How did your love story begin?

Funny enough, Chase fell for Kaitlyn's best friend, and Kaitlyn tried to set them up. While that didn't QUITE work out, the two got to know each other more through that friend. A month after, at a show choir Christmas party, Chase had noticed Kaitlyn sitting alone. "Nobody should be sitting by themself, it's Christmas!" He thought. So he sat with her. An action that started a whirlwind of emotions in both. One production of Fahrenheit 451 and one school dance later the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The night Chase proposed. The week leading up, Chase had kept fake proposing, kneeling down with a headphone case, etc. Little did Kaitlyn know, he had the ring in his pocket the whole time. New Year's Eve, 2021, Chase convinces Kaitlyn to go outside so they can light off some fireworks, and bring in the new year, after some go off, he gets down. "You're not funny!" Kaitlyn says, almost slapping the VERY REAL ring from his hand. "Kaitlyn Rosemary Lucy Haen, will you marry me?"..."YEEEEAAAAHHH."

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put the $20,000 towards a wedding and honeymoon. We have been together for eight and a half years, engaged for four and are looking to get married. It would be an immense help for us and would make sure we could make our wedding truly memorable and worthy of the love we have for one another.
