We met in high school in TV production class. He was the popular senior with a beautiful girlfriend and I was a shy quirky freshman. We began our friendship making video productions and laughing over story boards and bloopers. He graduated high school and we lost contact. Almost a decade later, we found each other again. He showed up to our date with three packages of sour gummy worms (my favorite candy) and I still have one of them tucked away into my closet. I’ll keep it forever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Miles took me to Yellowstone on our first, big, romantic getaway! If you can believe it, my favorite memory was planning the trip together. We love to sketch maps, plan drives, and excursions. I fell in love with how meticulous and careful he was. He is the same way with my heart.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to take Miles on the Camino de Santiago one summer. I walked the pilgrimage before I met him and it changed my life. He was raised Catholic and has basque heritage so it would be a wonderful adventure exploring his roots together. And personally…I love to walk, eat tapas, and drink cheap wine!
