It’s a treat to find someone who hears you the way you hear them, and to be able to talk through anything. We’re much better people for it.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kane and Murphy in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We were next door neighbors for about a year and only met once. Murphy moved away and then came back a year later. We started working at the same restaurant. It didn’t take long for me to get nervous around them. I invited them over after a night out, showed them some of my things, awkwardly, and said goodnight. So of course I tried again. I invited them out to the bar the next night and invited them over to my house. Murphy got the hint and made sure a kiss happened. And thank god for that!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I surprised Murphy with a trip to a tulip farm in early spring this year. We were the only people there. It was so much fun frolicking, for lack of a better word, through the fields and messing around with all the activities they had set up for children. I have this silly picture of them sitting in a bathtub that was out there, holding a single tulip and making a goofy face. It was nice being just us two.
What would you do with $20,000?Murphy does art and graphic design aside from their regular job. If I had my way, most of the $20K would go towards equipment for Murphy’s art. Making physical merchandise and getting it into local shops. The rest would get put away so that I could one day get us a house we love, and to be able to make it our own.
