How did your love story begin?

we met on twitter in a group chat for our favorite hockey team! we started long distance as he was working states away while i was in our home state. we started getting close outside of the chat. one day while playing the imessage game cup pong i said that the loser buys dinner, he said winner chooses where. that was january of 2025 and we are going stronger than ever!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

it is so hard to pick only one memory, however, a really special one for us is when we went to oogie boogie bash with my family. i had work the next day bright and early. my feet were killing me. he offered to get the car and get me where i was at, but i said no. he started to speed walk and run and i ran after him. he said he loves remembering how i was giggling running after him. i was carrying my shoes and running in my socks. it’s such a sweet memory and really shows how much love we have!

What would you do with $20,000?

it would be nice to use it for a fun getaway or an anniversary date! i just finished getting my master’s in clinical psychology & he just finished his master’s in business administration. we are both focusing on our careers - me as a therapist & him as a hockey broadcaster. the money would go towards helping us pursue our dreams and give us a fun romantic trip!
